In the cheese workshop, children and adults experience firsthand how fine Saaner cheese is made from fresh milk. A look into the large cheese storage shows where the wheels ripen – and of course, at the end, there is also a tasting! An exciting insight into the world of cheese that fascinates both young and old.

Parking is available on site.

Departure: Gstaad train station at 09:37 AM (Bus 181) towards Lauenen
Arrival: Stop Gstaad Badweidli at 09:42 AM
From there, it's just a few minutes to the production building, past Auto Mark over the bridge.
Departure: Stop Gstaad Badweidli at 11:46 AM towards Gstaad.
Arrival: Gstaad train station at 11:55 AM
The venue can also be reached by a pleasant walk along the Louibach.

How is delicious cheese made from fresh milk? In this demonstration, we watch the cheese professional at work and together discover how the fine Gstaad cheese is created. Afterward, you will get a glimpse into the cheese cellar – where hundreds of cheeses spend their aging period. An experience for little explorers with big questions!
We recommend a minimum age of 7 years, of course, younger siblings are welcome to accompany the family.
Equipment
The cheese workshop takes place outside, in front of the building. We recommend weather-appropriate clothing.
