February concerts Zweisimmen - the fair Miller Girl

The 18th "February Festival" in the Reformed Church of Zweisimmen.
The Concert Association Zweisimmen organizes several church concerts every year, including the "February Concerts" and the two "December Concerts" of the Cantate Choir Zweisimmen.

STEFAN VOCK, baritone, impressed us several years ago with his Schubert interpretation of “Winterreise.” This time, together with his companion at the piano, Jan Schultsz, he has delved into the song cycle "Die schöne Müllerin". The text basis is the collection of poems by Wilhelm Müller, from which Franz Schubert set to music 20 romantic letters and accompanied the young journeyman on his journey to the mill, where he falls in love with the beautiful daughter of the new master. The story ends tragically... Stefan Vock will make it resonate with us through his expressive interpretation.
