Great excitement for Swiss beach volleyball: From June 30 to July 4, 2027, the Beach Volleyball European Championships will take place in Gstaad. After Basel (2002) and Biel (2016), this significant European beach volleyball event will be held for the third time in history in Switzerland. The best teams in Europe will compete for the coveted European Championship medals against the impressive backdrop of the Alps in Gstaad.

For five days, the Gstaadion will transform into the center of European beach volleyball. Exciting matches at the highest level, emotional duels in the sand, and the unique atmosphere will make the event a special experience for sports fans and families alike. In addition to the competitions, visitors can expect a varied supporting program with a Beach Village, gastronomy, and a summery festival atmosphere.

The European Championships are organized jointly by Swiss Volley and Sports Events Gstaad. For the duration of the European Championship, the traditional elite tournament in Gstaad will take a one-time break and return to the international tournament calendar starting in 2028.
