Winterreise Reloaded | Daniel Behle & Oliver Schnyder Trio

14.08.2026 , Friday

The Hamburger tenor Daniel Behle, who lives in Basel, returns to the church in Zweisimmen with a true monument of music history: Schubert's sublime “Winterreise.” In an extended interpretation, the cycle is not only performed with piano accompaniment but also with violin and cello. For this, Daniele Behle performs with the trio around the Zurich pianist Oliver Schnyder, his long-time musical partner. Together, they recorded this extraordinary version for Sony in 2015, which many do not even know was actually conceived by Schubert himself.
